The Kamaz are awesome aren't they?

I do watch stuff online.. Was hoping to be able to buy some complete sets of old races.

I used to like the TV coverage... Section on cars, then bikes and trucks. Someone somewhere must be reselling these things.

Yeah, the old daily one-hour specials on Eurosport. Those were the days!

I always remember seeing one of the French desert-racing specials that had a radiator problem and the driver stopped and asked a nomadic tribesman in the Sahara desert for water, which the driver proceeded to slosh into his million-dollar custom desert racing car! ..... I always hoped that the producers repaid them with a 5 gallon bucket of water.

A few years ago when it was still based in Africa there was very little television coverage at one point as the organizers wanted what was seen as an extortionate amount for broadcast rights.
This may contribute to the lack of footage.

Top Gear Returns To the US With Top Gear America | Grand Tour Nation

Note, it's Top Gear America on BBCA, NOT Top Gear USA on History Channel.

Finally got around to watching the first couple of episodes of Top Gear's second series and rather like it. Much better than the first.

It is a massive improvement on the first. I still haven't got around to watching anything other than the first episode yet, though.

Can it be described as slow? Has better power to weight than any mustang afaik and if I wanted a car for real handling I'd probably get neither for sure.

Porsche is nice, I've not checked but do you pay a premium for such a European car in the USA?

The first time I drove one, not sure of the year, but it looked fairly new, I instantly went from hating pick ups to loving them. Absolutely phenominal machines!!!!!

This is why you should buy a new car. This is an interesting video comparing crash test results between old and new cars.

These look safer than an F150, which is surprising.

Well, you should really be posting the NHTSA results rather than those commie NCAP ones
My job is actually working for NHTSA studying real world crashes to get the same info as these tests but in a real world environment. New car, or old, what scares the shit out of me, is the damage done in a rear end collision, more so now as I have kids who would be in the rear of any collision. Let's just say, I know why there are so many Tahoe's on the road.
