Oh wow, that's beyond amazing. It started off as a very good painting and by the end it looked like a photograph.

That's fantastic. I've got a limited edition print of a Giraffe painting done by a South African girl who now lives in Aus. She does mainly wild animals, has a similar style in that you can see every hair, painstaking work and ends up so detailed they look like photographs. I'll find a video of her.

She's a lovely girl but doesn't believe she's artistic. She says she can only work from photos so she's not talented. 
Everyone who's seen her work begs to differ.

My dad used to be like that: would say he can only sketch if he had a picture or object to look at. He did have some superb drawing skills.
