how long does it take to reach the destination account?

less than a day?
overnight?
longer?

From recollection there are variables: it depends on if you're a new customer, also amount and time. E.g. From GBP to USD, over 2K you can't use a debit card and EFT takes longer. And if you miss the close of a business day it takes longer (w/e can be a PITA). I think it hits my account on the next business day. Large amounts need extra verification.

I use it less often converting USD to other currencies so not sure on times that way round.

My experience has been:

UK -> USA maybe a couple days via ACH.
USA -> UK same day / next day

I received £20k+ last year from the UK. It took 2 days to reach my US bank account. Sent late Monday, received Wednesday morning.
