This is what most of the bears do in town.....

We sit right in a valley with mountain ranges on both sides, and where they built the town happens to be where the wildlife highway is, we have bears, coyotes, wolves, cougars, bob cats, elk and so on all come through, the elk are getting killed in huge numbers when crossing the highway, and only a couple females left in the herd, so they are doing their best to get drivers to slow down and pay more attention in an effort to not lose the females.

A bit nervous at times when walking the dog, so easy to walk right into a bear, they have no issues with humans and tend to not be scared of humans. There was a man a couple weeks ago slightly hurt by a bear he ran into in his yard.
