The problem is the changing way most people get their news. Online is top for those under 50.

And there are channels you can complain through about errors in print media.
I can't name many stories that were totally false this past year that were published in a reputable outlet.

Maybe I don't watch enough news.

If we shouldn't accept any news report in case it's fake, why do you continually post links to 'news' reports and claim them to be factual. You can't have it both ways. Just because a report states something you, under your tin hat agree with, doesn't make it true.

Breitbart did an article on McDonald's outsourcing accounting jobs to India "on H1B visas" to support their argument against H-visa fraud!

Plus he's just peddling a load of happy horse shit. It is extremely easy to identify and verify the validity of news stories. People of Gordon's ilk keep pushing this idea that there's just no way to possibly know if things are true (*cue pearl clutching and the wringing of hands*) ... it's actually pretty frikkin simple.

I don't claim anything is true. It's worth while reading, that's all; and some reports are more plausible than others. Now, Moneypenny: It doesn't behoove a Moderator to be rude, so you shouldn't be. I can't add a Moderator to my Ignore List, so you shouldn't take advantage of your privilege to insult me. That's just plain bullying - and cowardice. Not nice.

And the willingness of many to believe everything they read as being the facts, and with no effort to research further themselves.

And there's no media organisations willing to call their rivals out when one side or the other prints proven lies. This is usually left to social media bloggers to do.

I'm not a Mod anywhere outside Aus. I'm a plain old poster. Suggesting you post rubbish and suggesting you might wear a tin hat isn't rude, it's an opinion cultivated from reading dozens of your posts where you don't actually make valid comments but do post links to vary dubious sites.

Are you kidding me? Seriously.

Moneypenny is not a moderator in this forum. She's a regular poster who is entitled to her own opinions. Certain people relentlessly prove their affinity to tin hats and their own addiction to paranoid conspiracies against them.

"Gordon" is either a propagandist or a dupe.

Part of the goal of right-wing propaganda is to create FUD (Fear Uncertainty Doubt.) First they try to erode your confidence in traditional institutions, then they to replace those institutions with their own deluge of BS.

And yet you never explain why anything you post is "worth while reading" and when asked to explain your position you almost always answer with silence. In other words, you are a classic "link dumper" who merely pollutes message boards you post in.

It could be because he's blocked just about everyone who ever asks him questions, and hence he never sees the questions. Benefit of the doubt and all that
