Default Can a private individual lobby or campaign alone to change US immigration laws?

Especially if they feel they are not fair, work or deliver in my particular case etc?

I wish to just go there and take a job that most US Citizens could also perform, as I don't feel that a dual UK / Danish Citizen taking one sole vacancy alone in New York City or San Francisco as an HR Advisor is going to massively increase their unemployment rate and put the country in recession overnight etc.

The U.S. Citizen who was not selected can just apply for another HR role instead, as new vacancies are being created and / or coming onto the labour market on a daily basis as companies open, people switch roles etc. There are presently 75,000 HR roles available in the USA nationwide today on Linked In, so mine won't make much of a difference with a few hundred more being created tomorrow.

I have EU skills, languages, qualifications and experience to also add to the mix, and also have absolutely no problem at all with Americans living and working in London, Paris, Brussels, Amsterdam and Cologne etc.

Who makes these restrictive and protective rules?

NO. NO. NO. AND NO.

Please, please, accept reality and get on with your life.

NO and why the hell should they. Can I, as a single US Citizen, demand that the EU change its laws? Are you for real?

I'm sending out a troll alert.

Can you lobby? Sure, go ahead, but when even the US President* tells Congress that he wants immigration reform and Congress does nothing, how likely do you think it is that even a single US politician will pay the slightest scrap of attention to you?

* Bear in mind that George W Bush and Barak Obama both pledged to reform immigration and achieved nothing in a combined sixteen years, so it is hardly surprising that Donald Trump hasn't achieved anything yet. .... However if any change does occur any time soon I am fairly comfortable predicting that the over all change will be to make immigration harder not easier.

I think that as it is a life time goal of mine, they should just let me in.

If you are the HR expert you claim to be you would know the answers to your questions.
But now it is obvious that none of your questions are serious.

Please get a twitter profile, you can then follow Donald Trump and even make your suggestions to him, I'm sure he will alter the US immigration procedures for you.

Don't you all want to play with the OP a little longer?

I was hoping this thread would go completely off track. Looks like you've done it
