Well she had been told before BE isn't a dating site, ans probably had threads deleted, but JG allowed this one due to the direction it was taking.. ie with the humour coming to the fore. Still if we've got her to leave without her having to bother the mods again, that's a result..

No, seriously, women in the US find British men more interested in them than American men sometimes! I know this has been true of me, though I certainly did not seek out the attention. One man told me he found English women to be shrill, common, sexless, and overly clingy, and American women warm, direct, and independent. I don't agree and I thought the fellow was a creep for saying that (his poor ex!)... but he said the perception was prevalent.
Anyway. My husband and I found each other attractive because we did, full stop. I didn't go out of my way to meet a British guy and he didn't go out of his way to meet an American woman. We certainly found immigration to be a complete hassle; we're decidedly not sorry to have done it and we will do it again in reverse when we move back home, but it's as hard and costly as dealing with the aftermath of a break-in or a major job loss. Anyone who doesn't already have a foreign mate, and who seeks one with the intention of importing them to the US, is either unusually stubborn, desperate, or a glutton for punishment.

No, seriously, women in the US find British men more interested in them than American men sometimes! I know this has been true of me, though I certainly did not seek out the attention.
