Tourist Visa Exemption Cost?

Planning to visit in 2 weeks.

Been to the Thai embassy website in UK but cannot find out if I need to pay anything at the airport to get my British (UK citizen) passport stamped.

Any ideas.

Might be too late you you may have already left, but No, you should be able to get a visa on arrival for no charge.

The poster does not state his nationality. Therefore, visa advice is not possible. Visa on Arrival is very different to free visa waiver. What you are entitled to depends on nationality.

The writer said he had a British passport and is a UK citizen - or did I read wrongly?

Sorry, I overlooked this info. For UK p.port 30 day entry is visa exempt and not visa on arrival which is a very different stamp. 30 day can be extended at immigration office.
