News here that in the South flash floods and storms - been announced on TV that its been officially deemed a disaster zone (not sure if its just mainland or Kohs as well???) - sunny up here in CM, blue skies and severe lack of black, monkey faced whores.

I haven't checked the Thai news but it's got to be over on the East side hasn't it (Koh Samui etc).

Phuket on the west side is at Peak season right now and doesn't (usually) get the northeast monsoon... maybe just an evening downpour.
