One thing about this that puzzles me is that, if these people are on overstay and appearing in videos ect, you would think that the immigration police would round them up.

Someone said you could choose your destiny and your life is in your hand. The Brit homeless are really where they want to be. Most Thais do not bother to inform the police as long as they do not cause any trouble. There are so many illegal Burmese, Cambodian, Laotian and Chinese workers in the country. Why not let few homeless or overstaying farang be here?
Just want to look at it on a positive side. Even though with some mosquitos and flies at night the weather is fairly nice near the Pattaya beach - a bit warm and humid. They can sleep without fear by a coconut tree and look for some food in the market or rubbish bins, which is quite an experience in life. It is not that bitterly cold like lying under the Waterloo or London Bridge.

. In Singapore at East Coast park they have signs up to Beware of falling coconuts.
Ok I know this is not Singapore but just saying its a bit nasty if you get hit by one

being killed by a falling coconut is a pretty common form of death on tropical islands I hear.
