Default Bangkok floods

Hope everyone out there is keeping safe... and think Nonthaburi is caught up in it too. Take care everyone.

Anyone in BKK who can give us an update?

I've just been reading reports on BBC and Thaivisa and it doesn't look good at all. Major roads leading north are mostly impassable. Roads out to the south and east are clogged with traffic. Supplies of bottled water running low Not good at all.

As I understand it, there has not been any flooding of water in Pattaya, only people. Supplies were getting short there too last week as half of BKK flocked to the beaches, however, everyone appears to be back now, or at least those with a dry house to access.

Central BKK is still dry, the klongs have not moved an inch either from the one's I see on Petchaburi Road and Narathiwas Road. The area around Mo Chit BTS flooded on the streets at the weekend and tonight I hear that water is coming up through the drains on the Srinakarin Road at On Nut. Slowly its creeping in closer.

Also, still no supplies of water in the shops for at least 6 weeks now... thank god for those filtered water vending machines in the streets.

Pattaya, unless you really have to go there, maybe carry on to Koh Samet where you'll find somewhere very nice to stay...
