Misled is an unknown quantity at this point
Default Re: Anybody had any dealings with Abbey Financial Services

We were misled by Abbey Financial Services when they set up an Executive Investment Bond (EIB) on our behalf.

We had agreed to pay management charges at 1% for 8 years.

However, when we received the policy documents Abbey had entered an unauthorised charging structure code on the application form where management charges are payable for the whole life of the policy.

Both Abbey and the EIB provider have refused to amend the policy documents despite acknowledging that at no time did we receive or sign the mandatory Charges Confirmation Form.

The matter is now with the Ombudsman.

Beware of Abbey Financial Services and their sharp practices
