open uni degree
I am currently studying towards a degree in english at the open university as I could not afford to give up work for 3 years to study at university full time, I am on course to finish over 3 years, after which I hope to go on to PGCE in secondary teaching as I am currently employed at the local high school as instructor for a mixed year class full time. My question is do immigration view open uni degrees the same as if I had gained a degree at a university full time as I will complete in the same time. Any advice on this would be of great help

If its Open University UK, yes they accept this.
They also accept Open University (UK) PGCE qualifications.
