Default I need to transfer my UK qualifications..

Can anyone recommend an International Credentials Evaluation service. I have the name of a few but wondered if anyone had experience using a particular one. I need to transfer my UK degree and teaching qualification into something US-friendly.

Many thanks

Unless you require some "official" credentialling for getting onto an academic course, there's no point paying a company to get your UK acquired academic qualifications credentialled.

I say this because the businesses in the US (at least) that provide the services are not regulated so any Tom, Dick or Harry can set themselves up in this business.

You'd be better off reading up about the American education system and translating your qualifications to the American equivalent.

I have also used a book by Yana Parker, "The Resume Catalog: 200 Damn Good Examples" which is perfect for those who were educated abroad and/or have an employment history from overseas.

Best of luck,

Best of luck,

Ohio Board of Education require that I get my foreign qualifications evaluated. Thanks for your suggestions, I have already been reading up on the education system, and I'll try and find a copy of that book.
