Advice needed on qualifications please
Hello!
I'm new to the site and apologise if this has been asked previously but I haven't found the thread if so. I am looking at possibly moving to Western Australia as my sister and family live there. I am trying to work out the visa system and have received conflicting information from visa advisers. Basically, my PGCE is secondary and my degree BA(Hons) Geography. Until 2004, I worked as a Humanities teacher and Assistant Head of Year, then took a career break to raise our son. For the last 8 years I have worked in an Infant School as both a Teaching Assistant, a Numbers Count teacher and a class teacher. I believe my qualification and experience would not allow me to teach primary in Western Australia and that I would have to do additional study for this - however, I cannot find what the UK equivalent would be. Any ideas please? Also, I have been given confilcting info as to whether my Secondary quaification could be counted for a visa aplication due to how long has passed since secondary experience. Can anyone advise on this please? Thank you everyone fr reading and I appreciate any help. |

Your qualifications shouldn't be an issue.
