Things have changed a bit then:

"O245 hrs enemy vessel spotted one half mile distance heading north east at approx. 25 knots"

"0257 hrs sank same"

They had type 42 destroyers same as us - we know this because we sold them to them.

The carrier Veintecinco de Mayo attempted to attack British ships on the very day Belgrano was sunk - only failing to do so as there wasn't enough wind to allow launch of her aircraft.

She returned to port following the sinking, disembarked her aircraft and never ventured out again.

Had she been stationed in the islands it could well have changed the outcome of the war.

One modern nuclear bomb, dropped in the pacific ocean will give everyone in the world cancer...
...it's up to you to substantiate it - not for others to disprove it.

Heh ho ,as usual go find the b****y quote. It was taken from an article in the Times some while back which is probable in the bin now.. Can I be bothered to go find it? Nah. I will give you this one though

From the Times newspaper of Friday Oct 6th On page 32

A very small notice which read

'Radiation rises in Western Europe.

A week long increase in radioactivity has been detected in the air in western and central Europe'.German scientists said the source is as yet unknown ,but calculations indicate that it 'may' ? have it's source in Eastern Europe.?

They will continue to try and trace it one presumes. Being unsure is a little worrying to say the least.

I will help you, it was in Jan, Feb 2017 and even made the UK press the Express.

The monitoring agency based in Paris ,reported no threat to health issues and levels quickly returned to normal.
