Default Enforced Sterilisation: Debate

...... http://www.facebook.com/l.php?u=http...kEnshAE2Wq9RhA ...

I actually agree with the principle of educating about unaffordable procreation. The world can't go on with ballooning its population, particularly not those who do it simply because they can. BUT even if that were Uzbekistan's sole reason, this is barbaric, big brother government.

Barbaric, yes. But it isn't big brother government because it isn't government of any kind. It's just barbaric. They were doing something very similar in Guatemala in the 90s, just after the direct military efforts to exterminate the indigenous population calmed down, they started a sterilization "campaign".

Just wondering what the ethics would be regarding rolling this out in Scotland...

Oh dear. Me too...just tried again. I'm sure it didn't before. Anyway, comments still stand, just without anything to talk about

The country of choice is Scotland. I thought that was obvious.

Yes, it's my choice, and I think Matt would agree. I mean you're not suggesting we let the Scots choose for themselves are you. They'll have a vote on it, decide not to do anything about it for years, and then blame the English for not interfering.

It takes you to a FB warning page..Just informing what many people don't seem to adhere to whilst on the internet..like putting in all their information in random websites.

Anyway, forced sterilisation. No. Governments can go **** themselves and leave the micromanagement of our own lives to ourselves.

I'm all for it, as long as it's iq related - there are enough ****wits in this world, without letting them breed. Don't bother testing chavs and pikeys though - just neuter them on sight.

Agreed, and maybe poison KFC and MacDonald's food as well, that will help to thin the herd.
