If we are a democracy, then the vote we got was correct, even if you don't agree with it.
As Churchill once said "Democracy is the worst form of government, apart from all the rest".
But it wasn't correct as it was based on misinformation and inaccurate 'evidence'. So if that was a Court and Jury and you were convicted on that basis, it later coming to light that it was as a result of a now proven load of cobblers as above, wouldn't you appeal? Or just accept it?

Yes we know that it's happening now, negotiations but not final result unless you know more than everyone else including May and Davis? I have no doubt this won't happen but where is the harm in many people using this to express a view?

They already know that 48% of voters don't want to leave.....and 52% do so it's futile and will just take up time that could be used on something realistic .

So you know how people will vote should they be given a chance having full knowledge of outcome of negotiations? Or is there a worry that once all is actually known for fact re leaving some may change their mind?

You think it's not worth signing I think it is, it is simply up to individuals if they do or don't sign it. It really is as simple as that

As all the predicted catastrophes never happened you could find a higher number would vote leave than before, be careful what you wish for.

While there's overwhelming irrefutable evidence that should Britain choose to crash out, such catastrophes will indeed occur (and circumstantially supported by Britain's continuing demands to retain full use of club facilities without membership... although most rational observers disregard that as futile posturing), I'd like to see some evidence that it won't happen. Real evidence, not an Express article, wishful thinking, or dreams of empire 2.0.

I suppose it might be worth signing if we get to the stage where the govt is looking for a way out.

I'm planning for the worst case scenario though and trying to make 'what if ' plans.

Well, if this proposed referendum battleground contains facts, thorough economic analysis and a viable roadmap for our kids' future, then I'll be more than happy to accept a truly democratic result.

Signed the petition, bring it on !

Love it! And what exactly are the UK Govt doing after Art 50 at the moment that's anywhere NEAR 'Realistic' then? Shopping / Wish lists, rumours of an offer to settle the 'Divorce' bill? Its not a question of if the EU will laugh at little old Britain and its table banging, but HOW LOUD.

Granted the process is running as a result of the 52%, so what happens when the UK get kicked out in March 2019? Everyone (typically) seems to think that the UK are playing the canny 'waiting game' as the clock ticks away, big surprise coming there I should imagine. Who do they think they are dealing with?

Thyssen / Krupps just went into partner ship with Tata steel in the UK, first announcement, 4000 job losses and the Port Talbot works is on the edge AGAIN. Realistic enough for you?
