If you can, then get your own personal aerial.
But remember that a TV aerial in Spain will only pick up the Spanish TV channels. No UK / English channels.

IF you want Spanish TV via a dish, then not a lot of channels are available for free, most require a Movistar+ subscription.

If you want UK channels, via Freesat, which offers 150+ subscription free UK TV channels, then you will be needing a very large dish... like 4 or 5 meters!

Of you have the option for 10 UK channels, BBC1,2,4, News, Parliament, CBBC, Cbeebies, ITV1, C4, Five, then you can get away with a smallish dish (80cm), a certain type of receiver, and hack into some encrypted feeds using the intelsat 907 freeview back up service, for how ever long that may continue

If you want good British(& a load of others) TV I got one of those huge dishes which ,fortunately as I have a big private roof terrace, does not cause me any problem being up there.I get free 24 hr.coverage of so many channels (even adult ones come on late if you want that)I haven't a clue about how many. But I am a full time resident in my own property & have had it for about 13 years now for which,I think,I paid about 1400 euros including the up to date SKY box.Previously I had a small dish in my last house which used to go off around 10pm,but that may have changed nowadays.Lots of people have a subscription which is suitable if you are renting or don't mind if the fees go up.I wanted an upfront payment.I am sure others will be able to advise what is available via an internet connection.

As an afterthought- Recently a new owner,we are the only English in our small block) asked if he could pay me to add on to my TV.Sat.dish.In other edificios I have seen this happen when there is a group of one nationality but it does require the big dish.Maybe you are in a British complex?

Yes, the Internet is best in terms of program choice, but most decent streams involve a fairly large monthly charge. The Intelsat 907 satellite option already mentioned offers by far and away the best quality, but on a limited number of channels but, apart from the installation costs, is free.

For many people dishes are not an option as they do not have permission to install. I use an internet based service for around 3€ per month and another one (less channels) for free. Filmon, the best known, was free until recently but is now charging 14,95€ a month.

If you have a decent internet connection simply use the tvcatchup app. It gives most of the uk channels at no cost.
