Default Taxation on my state pension

Hi everyone.
We has decided were going to retire to spain but now I am worried about Spanish taxation on my British state pension. Now thinking portugal may be a better option. Any advise welcome.

Default Re: Taxation on my state pension

It will depend on whether you have additional income on top of the UK state pension.

The allowances against tax may actually be higher than your state pension so you would pay no tax.
