Default Swimming with dolphins

Hi

Most of you will not know me as most of my postings are on the Canadian immigration and expats site.

My daughter wants to know if it is possible to swim with dolphins anywhere in Spain?

Thanks

As you probably know there are many dolphins in the straits of Gibraltar. There are a few dolphin tours operating from Gibraltar and in La Linea, just accross the border.

I don't know if they let you swim with the dolphins but we used to take our own boat out to sea and swim with the dolphins oursleves. It's very safe (unless you get run over by a another boat!).

Apart from that don't know anywhere else.

Ther is a tourist site just outside of Alicante called "Mundo Mar" (Sea World) they do have a session where the general public can swim with Dolphins by appointment, I do not have the full details as yet but will try to find out more today.

Like justin said there are lots of dolphins off Benalmedena and Fuengirola,in fact all along that coast, but dont know if the trips let you swim, they could always rent a boat and skipper ( unless they have their own licence )and do it themselves.
