Spanish tax question
If I rent a house then can I deduct the rent I have paid from my spanish tax return?

Re: Spanish tax question
You may be able to deduct some of it - the actual amount depends on your taxable income. The allowance is only 10.05% of the rental. If your income exceeds €24k then you cannot claim anything. There is a sliding scale below this income.
This applies for the current declaration for 2014. These allowances are being abolished as of 1st January 2015.

It also depends if your landlord has declared that they have a rental income.
If you don't have a contract with their DNI on it, then you will have problems
