Re: Seeking some peaceful property.
You're welcome. I know most people don't mind living in apartment and you can live on top floor, or be lucky to have an apartment where you don't hear things but anyone seeking peace might struggle. Most apartments where I've stayed overnight (family/friends/holiday) were loud and I could hear things I don't want to hear all the time. Toilets flushing, doors banging in hallway, TV/Music, people talking etc. Some people also get used to it or don't hear it anymore but wouldn't be for me.

Hi there
Have a look at La Herradura or Almunecar apprx 45 min north of Malaga.
Both smaller towns with a lovely beach and very green (Costal tropical)

We rent out of season and our apartment block gated peaceful beautiful views. But, and it's a big one most of the owners are from Granada so descend on Friday evening on fine weekends and it is noisy as said before especially if the building has a 'well' The noise then goes away on Sunday late afternoon and most owners never venture down Jan to April.

Could have a look at 'grapevine properties' no connection with them but lots of choice for the type of places and property that might interest you.

Re: Seeking some peaceful property.
I've just contributed to another thread on this forum regarding somebody thinking of purchasing property in Spain. A naive approach was en route there, but here we have a guy already living in Spain seeking a more peaceful location further down the coast. He accepts he will have to move there for some weeks in the off season. No naivete, no problems just one question i.e. Where can I get more peace but not in the middle of no-where?
I recommend near Mojacar Playa (not in the resort itself which is touristy and eventually will be a victim of its own success) but just outside you can have all the peace you wish. Property is cheaper there too. If you want village life then Turré and its environs become a runner for you. Nearby Los Gallardos is suitable too. But, I recommend any area within two miles of Mojacar Playa where you can have all the peace you want.
