not here it isn't - but we do have some forecast

apparently there's a cold front sitting in the Gulf of Cádiz - which by Friday might just collide with another coming from the north, right on my doorstep

that collision will maybe then crash into the warm moisture from the Med............ perfect conditions for a Gota Fría

I hope it just rains..........

The Gota Fria has already hit,.........England.
Very similar conditions and result with two weather fronts meeting.
Both main road and rail link to Scotland cut off for a while yesterday.
Lots of folk evacuated and floods all over the place.
Worst for three decades according to the news.
Couldn't even get to my local market town yesterday just a couple of miles away.

As Dick mentions, it's been one of the worst summers as regards rain in the UK for a long time. Maybe now the rain will head south to Spain and we can have an Indian summer in Blighty.

Yes, looking grim, I feel for those affected. We´re lucky where we are, we´ve been in this house over 30 years and never been flooded, we´ve had rain but certainly not in the biblical proportions that some seem to have had. I've only driven locally the last few days and certainly no roads closed here. I wonder how some people in vulnerable areas manage with insurance, do they become uninsurable at some point?

Well the Citizens of Spain have already been p!ssed upon from a great height for quite a few years now, so maybe the good Lord above believes they need a break from it.
