Last year I received some very useful help from someone on here (sorry cant remember who). I have since used the renfe web site to book web fares a couple of times successfully.
Yesterday I tried to book tickets with no success. I put in all the details correctly (or so I thought). I tried in English and in Spanish (just in case). I phoned up the help line as well but this didnt help either. They couldnt understand why I was having a problem.
I think the mistake may be in the ID section as there isnt a part that says passport or NIE number just "foreigner ID" and "Othe"r.
I was told on the help line that they only accept american express or spanish credit card. I was using my cam credit card so it should have been fine.
Has anyone else had problems? or can anyone help?
