How many British citizens live in Spain?
Can anyone here tell me approximately how many British citizens live in Spain?
Or if anyone knows any websites where I can find this out, it would be helpful.

There are 700,000 brits living in Spain.

According to my Diari de Girona yesterday, the number of 'legal immigrants' resident in Spain from the UK is 105,479.
This is official numbers of people actually resident and registered and all legal here.
Interesting article - it had a map showing where foreigners are concentrated and how many are in each province. It also includes a list of how many 'official' immigrants from Morrocco (333,770), Equador (174,289) and Columbia (107,459). England was fourth on the list.
Kinda meaningless really, though, as there are so many unregistered immigrants!

What about the rest of the UK? England is part of the UK, in the same way as Castile is part of Spain.

Deduct another 5 for Spain. My two neighbours and three friends left today and I'll be off in a couple of weeks. My parents, sister and her family and about 6 others will be heading out in late Spring.
