Yes mango trees are becoming very popular in the Malaga area. Last time I was walking in Torrox the locals told me they were replacing some of the olive trees with them - the other fruits I don't know about.

We live on the Granada coast and it's called the Costa Tropical - mainly because of the massive amount of the fruit grown here. Mangos, Guava, Papayas, Cherimoyas, Avocados, Nisperos as well as Olive, Almond and a few others I have missed.
New plantations are starting all along the coast towards Malaga, especially mango. The problem is that these fruits all need lots of water (except olive and almond) and there just isn't enough to go round - it's a disaster waiting to happen. http://www.theseasidegazette.com/201...drated-valley/
The other problem is oversupply. Lovely local mangoes in the market today for only €1.50 Kg. Some of the better tomatoes cost that much.
