Escaping the rain
Fed up of the rain here in Almunecar. Looking for a couple of nights in Almeria next Wed as the weather is definitely looking better up there...have to be back for late Friday. Never been there, any recommendations for mid price hotels with parking.

They are forecasting rain every day except Tuesday and Friday, and very strong winds, so good luck!
It will be wetter in Almuñécar but I doubt you would notice much difference!

Oh just hoping for a bit better. All the roads here are now rivers the palm trees are bent on two an no let up for the next week. Friends son came back from Almeria and said it was much better up there. It's only an hour and a half away. Still looking at the pics my daughter is sending from London..think I'm still better off here.

Count your blessings! Any rain in Andalucia should be welcome, especially as the reservoirs are still dangerously low, as in other dry areas.
For a change, we have blue sky and 18C, but have gone through an exceptionally wet winter.

Brilliant today here in the Benidorm area but could be gloomy tomorrow.Nice to think, though, that by the end of the month I think the shorts may be coming out of the wardrobe.

Think we will just mark this year's visit off, some you win - and they do/did need the rain here. Will be back in hopefully sunny Folkestone for Easter and fingers crossed a decent UK summer. Hubby has had his shorts on twice since January usually has them on nearly every day here, but there you go. Back in September for the beautiful Almunecar autumn sun...with a couple of trips to France Italy and Croatia to keep us going.
