Hola

As it's a Smart meter - use too much electricity and the potencia will trip out

Just below the meter there should be a set of fuses, these are the individual supply fuses which allow the electric company to isolate your supply without disconnecting everyone in the building.
Yours will probably be marked 08 (assuming that's your meter in the picture). You should be able to pull & remove the fuses. However, do be aware that you have a smart meter and the electric company will see the disconnection and may send an engineer to investigate.
I would recommend you have a conversation with your supplier on the best way to disconnect your meter.

EDIT see post above : The meter will reset once the load has restored to contracted level. Don't rely on tripping the power to disconnect the meter.

p.s. Difficult to be sure but it looks like there's an illegal connection next to yours! Have you got squatters in your building?

Thanks to you both for replying. I had left the flat and locked it up but forgot to off the kitchen and balcony light! A neighbour emailed me the news and looking at an old photo of the smart meter I could not see an obvious lever to turn off the power. the meter is housed in a communal cabinet on the ground floor.

My neighbour has since told me that she has somehow managed to disconnect the supply to the flat without disrupting the rest of the block and that the two lights that were showing are now extinguished.

I have previously left the flat with the electrics still on and the fridge freezer doors open to air the appliance. 6 weeks later I returned to find an ice block in the freezer!

I suppose my next trick will take it to a new level, when I fail to close the front door when leaving.

Cheers jonboy
