We are presently living in Murcia but are looking for a change and so interested in your opinion, especially after HillyBilly told me Alcaudete is a bit of a run-down-town.
Thanks

good luck with it. very happy to here of people moving in to martos
do you plan to live there or use it as a holiday home. hope it all works out for you. Martos is a big town you can get lost and keep to your self or go out and enjoy life. just learn the language as you are not on the costas but in the real heartland of Spain. and heartland is it people there are so friendly and welcoming hope to catch up with you for a beer some time

Hi Everyone, Nicola here.
Havnt been on the site for quite some time, although tstill persevering with my "little place in the sun' 🌞
Hope you are all well and enjoying Martos. I will be in Martos from 25th Sept to 3rd October with my friend, so if anyone fancies meeting up for a vino (Paul and Kate) that would be great. Casino Royale maybe, or LosReales?? Will just be happy to be there.....thankfully not one of Ryanairs cancelled flights!!! Phew 😊😎

Hi Nicola.. Worked out that Casino Royale is in plaza de fuente (is it?)
We'd love to meet up for a drink either Monday at a push Sunday as we're heading to Malaga for the day...
Let me know your thoughts

It's a shame someone saw fit to delete 2 posts just because we're trying to make friends in Martos... Whats the point of a forum if you can't communicate?
Here till Tuesday 3rd of October if anyone else would like to join us?
Cheers

Hi it's permanent. We looked at a few in martos, but the hill was not for us. And lack of outside space with the town houses.

Hi there I am visiting Martos in January with a view to finding a house. I have seen when looking on estate agents site that sometimes they refer to the better part of the area. Can anyone advise where this is please
