Default Can we afford it?

Hi all- I wad wondering if some of you could help-

We are looking at moving to either portugal or spain. we need about 3 bedrooms and preferably not an apartment. We would also want to be near a big city or somewhere with a large e-pat population. However, we only have a budget of £110,000 and were wondering is this enough to get to spain or portugal? any advice on this would be appreciated.

That's about 159k Euros. I can't think of any places in Northern Costa Blanca that would get you a 3 bed house for that. Southern Costa B is a lot cheaper but even then I think you'd be pushing it. If you did find a cheap enough area for a 3 bed house I think you'd find the area a bit scuzzy.

€160k would get u a two bed on the coast of the costa del sol i think.. fuengerola, benalmadena, torrimilinos etc all within easy reach and a large expat comunity. you might be pushing it for a 3bed. although i´m sure they are there if u look...

i´ve been looking at a 7bed on 5000m2, 20 minutes inland for €142k
