I think you need to give more information. Where are you located? Do you have an electricity contract and meter? Why has the electricity been cut?
It is unlikely that the British Embassy will be able to help.

Re: British Embassy We Need Help
There has been talk about this problem in other threads on this forum. Have a look through them and see if there is anything that will help.
Failing that, perhaps someone who lives in the area and has some information about the situation will respond.

Re: British Embassy We Need Help
The best that the British Embassy will offer is a list of Spanish lawyers who are registered with them BUT this is only a list of lawyers not a list of recommendations.
If you can't get help anywhere else you could try the Defensor del Pueblo which is a kind of ombudsman who can intervene in disputes with any type of Spanish administration.

However, it seems as though your dispute may be with a private developer who has been building illegal properties in which case you are unlikely to get very far.

Yes, there are loads of posts on this forum concerning the electricity meter situation in Chiclana. You'll also find much more on www.mycadiz.biz, particularly by cdl caretaking.
A lot of buyers are in a difficult situation and have resorted to alternative means of power - solar, wind, generator. I just cannot see the British Embassy getting involved with a problem that originates from illegal building activity.

you could be banged up in Alhaurin serving a ten strech and MISTER BIG in the showers takes a fancy to you...........its going to happen :scared: ..... where would the Embassy be then, not buy your side I'am sure (I'AM NOT TALKING FROM EXPERENCE)
what I'am saying is if they would not help in "my made up example" why would they help with a problem with electric.
Please NOTE;I have not been to Alhaurin and I have never been with a MISTER BIG.....
