Too many posts when where how? Do as we do rent for less than 90 days several times a year. Get the benefits of sun and warmer weather in winter. Stay away for the hot hot summer then back in beautiful warm autumn. Spain is fabulous for 6 months but England is our home.

Your business,but a person will obviously have to be able to fund that. Rent here and live day to day for less than 90 days, still pay all the bills at home, mortgage,council tax, water rates, standing charges etc. etc. Not everyone can do that, but if that's how you do it, happy days!!! Also its culminative for the 183 days per annum Jan to Dec to be tax residents in Spain, but although realistically you are unlikely to get snared there, thats the underlying rule. Anyway, as Bob said, horses for courses, but not everybody could financially sustain that in the long run and end up with both feet in one camp only.
