Aljarafe Seville - Good place to live?

Aljarafe Seville - Good place to live?
Hi,
We're looking at moving to Seville but not in the centre of town, we've narrowed it down to the Aljarafe area, and are interested in Espartinas, Valencina or Gines as they seem to have a good choice of detached houses (which is what we're looking for). Not sure we can afford Tomares, Mairena, or Bormujos.
So, does anyone here have any experience of living in Aljarafe? What are the best areas? What are any areas to avoid? I know the area very well as I currently have a holiday home that I've had for 20 years nearby, so I'm aware it gets very hot in the summer (!), but I realise that living there is different to holidaying there.
