Breast specialist
Recently had an abnormal ultrasound of my breast which was picked up at a health screen in Bangkok. Advised nothing to worry about but to have repeat done in 6 months.
I would like a second opinion from a specialist Dr in Singapore. Can anybody recommend a Dr/hospital specialising in this field? I notice that KK Women's & Childrens hospital specialise in this area but wondered if this has a good reputation as it's not a private hospital?
Thanks in anticipation.

I cannot recommend a specialist. But govt. run hospitals in Singapore are very good. However, as a non-resident you may not have access without referral from a doctor outside. I tried. Many docs working in govt. hospitals also have private practice.
I live in Bkk and I sometimes use Singapore medical services. You need an appointment, waiting times can be long. It is not like Bkk where you just walk in. Singapore operates more like U.K.
Re your problem. I don't know where you did the check up. If you are still in town, get an appointment with Dr Chris at BNH. He is top and honest, not looking for business. Same with Dr Kaesarin, radiologist who does ultrasound herself unlike other hospitals where a technician does it.

Sorry, radiologist is Dr Kesarin. She is known under this name by hospital staff. Same with Dr Chris. Just ring hospital and they will put you through to resp. dept. Thai names are long and complicated. We know ppl by their short form names. Will check and come back to you.
