Singapore Here We Come!
EP (P1) approved and now my new wife has just had her DP approved (only took 1 week).
we will arrive on the day of the F1 GP. don't think we'll bother going to watch it though!

Congratulations! The city will certainly be buzzing that week. 
You will be arriving into the slightly cooler and much wetter season.
Where are you staying? You might have trouble getting to your hotel.

have a serviced apartment booked for a month on Club Street. quite handy for work I think. After that will look for a 2 bed apartment. Not sure which area though. Thinking maybe Siglap/Geylang sort of area. Need a 2 bed condo and want decent facilities as my wife will probably take a bit of time to find a job.

Well I was about to tell you there are no serviced apartments on Club Street, but I just googled and I think they're brand new, made out of the old BBC building
Good location, on the edge of Chinatown and close to all the bars and restaurants.We spent our last 4 years there living in Geylang, in an old shophouse. If you can get past the area's reputation, it's a fantastic place to live. What goes on there makes it all the more interesting.
Let me know if you need any information, either on here or privately.(I'm already planning my eating schedule for my stopover
)

We spent our last 4 years there living in Geylang, in an old shophouse. If you can get past the area's reputation, it's a fantastic place to live. What goes on there makes it all the more interesting. Let me know if you need any information, either on here or privately.
