Default Singapore

We are thinking of going to Singapore to have our visas evidenced.

So far I've found Tiger Airways the cheapest for flights.

Anybody got suggestions for budget hotels with family rooms?

Any tips/suggestions on things to see/what do do there are more than welcome.

Thanks.

Hey Luma

We've been to Singapore a couple of times now and I think the best thing to do there is the Night Safari. It's amazing, you are so close to the animals and because it's night they are all out and active. There's a great restaurant area too with the chance to get your photo taken with some of the smaller animals. It was about $32 each when we went (last Oct) but if you fly Singapore Airlines you get discount, in fact with your boarding pass you get discounts off a lot of things.

We visited Sentosa too but weren't too impressed. Granted we were jetlagged but the Butterfly and Insect Kingdom was full of dead bugs made to look alive by being glued (and sometimes stapled ) to logs. Maybe we missed the best bits but definitely do the Night Safari. Enjoy

Most of the hotels offer cheap family rooms. We booked the Merchant Court ( 4*) and it cost £ 64 per night. There are plenty to choose from.

Thanks for your replies

Mods - why has this been moved from the Austalian forum? I was hoping to get advice from others that have gone over from Australia to visas evidenced.
