where can I get insurance and breakdown on uk plated car

Help... my UK car insurance is running out and I've called linea directa but they won't insure UK plated cars... does anyone know of any firm which does. thanks xx

Or better still, use a UK company. As you are resident in UK, why not use a UK insurance company?

Most UK companies restrict the duration of cover, but I believe SAGA offer unlimited cover for EU.

Liberty Seguros in Los Montesinos have a sign in their window to say they insure British cars so I would assume that all their branches do.

We have used Abbeygate for the last couple of years before changing our plates. They speak English and are very helpfull

If you live in Spain perhaps you should put it on Spanish plates. Or do you take it back to the UK to have an MOT done every year.
