Statement of Service from employer for AHPRA
#1
Hi, im in the process of completing the AHPRA application form for my nursing registration. I need a statement of service from my employer.. Can my nurse lead do this letter? or does it have to the manager/employer? Reason i am asking is, I work for GP surgery. My nurse lead is the nurse practitioner and is happy to do the statement of service, but will this be accepted by the AHPRA? I have not actually told my employer my plans as yet as i want to wait a little longer before i tell them, (obviously the nurse lead knows).
Please help...

I would have thought that H.R, could do your statement of service then the lead nurse could do your professional reference???

You could give it a go, could she put manager with her title???
If they dont accept it then you would just be contacted then you would then have to ask the G.P. - although im sure if you say your not looking at moving to Oz for a few years then the G.P. might not mind as much??? x
