Yes I've heard of Expat Shield but never used it. I recently signed up to 123UKTV.com as I get a VPN plus over 40 Sky Go channels thrown in. So far I am thrilled with the service and it costs peanuts!

I have used Expatshield before but there service is free and hence not the best, instead i paid 5 pounds and used these guys www.***************** which has been a far better experience, highly recommended.

I've just started trying out the DNS based services that allow you to access UK TV content; UnoTelly and Unblock US

I like them as they don't require a full VPN connection to the UK, so I can use them on all my devices, including the PS3

Haven't decided yet which one to go with or whether I want to pay $5 pm for them instead of StrongVPN.
