Re: LTBV declined - what to do next to keep trying
Hi guys, just a quick update, the immigration manager is considering whether to review the decision, however due to Christmas it is unlikely that he will be able to look at it until after the holidays. So we are concentrating on having a good christmas and new year,
Happy holidays everyone, eat, drink and be merry x

Rats !
Will your Immy advisor meet with this manager in the new year? Did you change anything in your application ?
NZIS may well be on skeleton staff over the festive season as NZ tends to shut down for 2 weeks in the main ,as everyone heads to campsites and bach's whilst the kids are off school..
Hope you have a lovely Christmas and New Year Moonie2011.

Hi BEVS our immy advisor keeps offering to meet with them, he did several times with the CO but he never accepted the offer, he has also suggested it to the manager as well. We increased our initial investment by over double, plus put in amended financial forecast figures which showed a healthier profit etc
NZIS actually shut from next Friday for two weeks then they are skeleton staff for the rest of January as everyone takes leave, nice for some
Happy christmas to you too

Re: LTBV declined - what to do next to keep trying
We heard today that INZ have refused to review the decision. Basically he says that without previously owning our own business the motel requires full time management commitment 24/7 and we couldn't do that - we know that and we can do it
Also said that the increased amount of money we said we would invest would over stretch us and he felt it was too risky - we increased the amount of investment as the CO said it wasn't enough
Well it's the end of a dream and we are all really gutted, angry & upset
We have lost a lot of money and got nothing to show except memories, most of them bad
Thanks for all your support really appreciated it
