Smile skilled independent-migrant visa

Hi all,
I am planning to apply to visa subclass 175 - after i satisfy the requirement-.
After a few months i will have 3 year experience at occupation on SOL.
I performed test point and i have 60 points from
30 points from age.
10 points for language 7 at each exam.
5 points for 3 years experience.
15 points from my education bachelor
total=60 point
i need only 5 point
so i have to improve my language to get 8 at each exam and that's so difficult.Or wait until having 5 years experience and that i wouldn't do.
So i wonder if there's any method to get another 5 points?.
I'm in the first year of M.SC,does it give extra points for first year or the whole master?
Finally what they mean by professional year?
Can any one help me?
And i will be so appreciated.

You clearly have the points test in front of you, you need to look down the list and see if you qualify for any of the points. We don't know you, we don't know what you qualify for.

The English would certainly seem like your best bet, even if it took you 6 months to get up to standard, it is surely easier than most other options once you have got the basic points.

You would have had to have completed the Masters for it to count. Here's some information about the professional year.

Why don't you explore 176 visa, the state sponsorship can give you 5 additional points.

Masters degree has no advantage over bachelors, as far as the point test goes. Professional year has to be completed in Australia, you are not there, so it does not apply.

Thank you for this info.
I understood prof year, and it wouldn't be helpful for me.
I guess completing Master will not give extra points.

Check out the state sponsorship websites & see if your occupation is on their list. Also check their other eligibility criteria.

These are the state sponsorship websites:

Victoria.

Queensland.

New South Wales.

Tasmania.

Western Australia.

South Australia.

Northern Territory.

Did you not even read my previous post?

Look on the state websites to see if your occupation is on their lists. Check the other eligibility criteria. If you meet the criteria, and have the inclination, then apply.

You're quite right. The Masters would not offer any additional points. If you're studying though, how are you going to meet the work experience requirement?
