Default Contributory Parent Visa - Still Sparkling!!! - Part 4

OK so the last one was nearly 2,000 posts so I thought it was probably time you had a nice clean and shiny one. The link to the old one is here.

Enjoy!

Me first! Well, second. We wanted to get it up to 10,000, but I can see we'll have to do that when you're not looking MP.....

OK, we`ll start the thread seeing as we got our red star today .The elation has not worn of yet but its dampened a bit by the house still not being sold and we are going nowhere until it is . We have until 19th Feb 2011 to use the visa but as we are now in our 60s and 70s would like to be in Oz as soon as possible.Lets hope things inprove soon on the housing market.
We have a Q. grant letter said passport does not need a label so does this mean we dont have to send passports to High Commission for validating ?

good luck to those still waiting
Chris & Rob

Beat you by a whisker.

We had an information sheet with our grant letter (last May) giving details of where to send the passports. Part of the fun was seeing those expensive stickers in there. Don't know if it works like that any more though.

Cheers

Steve

Congratulations Chris & Rob. We've just moved off the bottom rung of the ladder (tracker) - still waiting for acknowledgement but payment taken.

The 'shock' was that it was on the credit card statement but we didn't know it had gone through yet, rather than the amount (which we were expecting)
