IT (ICT) Jobs in Christchurh
Hi,
Me and my wife are considering moving to NZ in the next 12-18 months (dependent on what happens to the GBP over the next year) and we both work in IT, me being a techie allrounder (with an MSc in IT), she being a project manager type.
We would like to move to the Christchurch area and understand that IT jobs are not as easy to come by as in Auckland or Wellington, but can anyone tell me if there is enough of an IT industry in the Canterbury area to make a reasonable living?

Just looked on it.seek.co.nz - there are 91 IT jobs listed in Christchurch - seems to various types of roles - testers all the way up to Enterprise Architect.
The other way to look at it would be to speak to companies in Wellington and Auckland and see if they would offer work from home if you were based elsewhere.
