Got out police certificates today, took long than the advertised 12 working days to get here. I only mention it for people just starting the ITA application, working out timings etc. All I can suggest is that you allow a time buffer and get medicals and police certificates done early.

There is nothing stopping you sending off the application form for the police certificate when your status on the immi website updates. Don't wait until you get a letter etc, we received our ITA pack long before our "congratulations" letter.

Still waiting for the medicals. Hey the practice in Salford is cheap(er), but there doesn't seem to be any sense of urgency. Invoice delayed, gave them a call, asked for the invoice to me email... got the email within a few hours..... emailed asked if payment had been received......nothing in 2 days..... food for thought when choosing where to have your medicals done.

Although there are delays its still exciting. Still have the pregnancy and the baby's medicals to have (once born!).

If the Salford medics start giving you the run around try the guys in Preston next to moor park - they are on the offical list on the NZ Immigration website. Due to paperwork c*ckups ( my fault ) I ended up having to shell out for two medicals. On both occasions they had a fast turnaround and did the x-rays at a local private hospital on the same day.

Just my personal experience, but if it helps someone out, great.
