Hi all im looking for some advice as have arrived in Secret harbour 4 weeks ago with my Oh and 2 kids. My OH is an electrician and got his ARTC before we left the Uk. We realised it wasnt going to be easy once we got here but it has now been 4 weeks and have been told so many different things about my Oh getting a job? We assumed that because he had his ARTC and his blue card he would be able to work supervised until got his A grade licence but have been told this morning - when he called to apply to go to college that he would need to apply to Energy safe before he can get a job and then he can apply to go to college to get this licence?????
Is this right that he cant even work suppervised until he fills out the forms for Energy safe and give his last 5 years work experience again???
So dishartened by the whole thing pls can anyone help??
