Up to now we've been travelling to Granada airport with Monarch..... wonderful, no car hire queues, everything nice and easy, but now Monarch have cancelled the LGW/GRX route, we're having to fly to Malaga from Gatwick. We've also been using CarJet but now they've started charging for a full tank of fuel, and the queues for AurigaCrown and EuropaGoldCar are horrendous, we're looking for alternatives.
Apart from CarJet, what are the options for: a no-excess insurance, pay for what you use fuel policy, and little or no queuing. I suspect, by definition, there isn't one that fits all, but what are the best options? |

Try www.malagacar.com
We used them twice before we moved out and had no problems. You don't pay until you arrive. They speak English if you need that. |

![]() Yes there is, www.autosfiesta.com Have used them for 20 years or so, always reliable, personal service, they are based in nerja but will have a car at the airport ready for you, pay in cash or credit card. What more can I say, very very good, I have never found anyone to beat them on service and price yet. Whether it is a short hire or as I do in the summer 5 weeks they are just as helpful, they always answer e mails promplty and well i could go on, check them out always worth a look. Luv Eve xx

To beat the queues we use a company who are off the airport as we find it's quicker.
We use www.malagacar.com they fit all your criteria except the fuel as you pick the car up with half a tank and return it empty. There's a discussion on this subject here http://www.andalucia.com/forums/view...=12663&start=0 |

Hi Eve,
We are really enjoying our first Xmas in Spain. As you guessed I'm not back at work until the 8th - celebrations go on longer here with the 3 Kings on the 6th. As it's a Sunday this year we get the Monday off as well. It's actually nice because back in the UK there was always a big build up to Xmas and then it was all over in one day. Did your hubby enjoy his few days over here? When are you back - Feb. half term? Hope you had a good break. |
