Along with what promises to be a hot summer came the first 20 Twenty cricket world cup.Hosted in Johannesburg .I love the format of the game .Its quick ,energetic and exciting . There is a great family atmosphere at the stadiums .Braaing , dancers and drummers . I hope this format goes from strenght to strenght .

Already Australia was given a shock hiding by Zim .Lets see what comes next.

I love T20 too - although I'm still one for the one-day game. But it is a lot of fun. Tests are dull.
It should, however, be noted that, Zim gave Aus a hiding in Cape Town, of course - in the rain!

Our summer hasn't arrived yet (Monday, I'm told).

And I'm sad to say that T20 has been completely overshadowed by RWC.

But last night was amazing, yes. I was babysitting little 0.6, otherwise I'd have been down at Newlands again. Instead, I was flicking between the England footy and the Zim game. However, I was treated to this gem from David "Bumble" Lloyd.
