After living here for 2 years and 7 months, today we became Australia citizens! Yay!
The ceremony was excellent and both myself, Ste, kid 1 and kid 2 really enjoyed the whole experience.
Heres to Australia!

I love travelling on my aussie passport. Was funny actually - first time I came out to Oz with my wife and son, I made a point of flying on the blue rather than the maroon - they got through immigration and customs 15 minutes before me

And yes, very green down here, hoping it brightens up a bit for the weekend though, because I'm helping a friend plant 1000 kilos of garlic bulbs!!
P.S. Sorry for the off-topics my FNQ chums.

ROOKSIE: you're a nutter!!!
I assume Cairns is the "place to be"? You've got some balls, I'll give you that - get yer arses over 'ere and dig in!
Just to add to our excellent day - we noticed "Win Television" (local tv company) were at our ceremony - camera man with, err, camera in hand and when we watched the news later this evening - we were on it!!!
Hilarious!!!
