Visas here, exchanged on house, buyers want completion by next Friday! So removals arriving Wednesday to pack and put our furniture in storage.

Moving into temporary whilst daughter finishes GCSE's then we fly out 26th June.

Everything happening so fast now. Just wanted to say big thankyou to everyone on here who has given us advice and support, I don't know what i would have done without it.

Made friends in Vancouver on flight last time we visited so emailed them to see if we could stay the night, before getting connecting flight to Okanagan. They are off to their holiday cottage in Shuswap that week so decided to wait for us, drive us up to Shuswap have a few days holiday and then take us to our family in Summerland! What lovely people and a great way to start our new life in Canada.

Feel like I'm on a roller coaster of emotions right now, really happy but also tearful every time i see my friends, so glad we have the internet making keeping in touch easier.

Will keep visiting the forum and hope i can pass on any advice and tips to those who have the wait ahead.
